About The Position

Clean Response is hiring full-time, motivated and reliable Mitigation Technicians for its Des Moines location. The team helps property owners recover from fire, flood, and similar damage by cleaning, drying, and rebuilding affected properties. Technicians train with experienced team members and learn the skills needed for the role. The position requires driving and availability for a rotating on-call week, including nights and weekends, approximately every five to six weeks. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered, with $1,250 paid at month three and the remaining $1,250 at month six. Requirements

Ability to perform manual and physical labor, including heavy lifting.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Availability to work overtime and respond to emergency situations.
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
Demonstrated ability to run production.
Ability to use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectively.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Restoration industry experience and solid related skills; training is provided for candidates without this experience.

Responsibilities

Maintain equipment daily, including cleaning, repairing, and checking equipment in and out.
Complete inventory for supplies needed in the warehouse.
Prepare equipment and supplies for emergency jobs.
Serve as a point person for facility needs such as repairs, maintenance, and cleaning.
Perform general labor at job sites, including emergency projects.
Assist with dry-down procedures and mold remediation in residential and commercial settings.
Drive as required and be available for scheduled on-call weeks.
