About The Position

As a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis Restoration, you will support homeowners dealing with water, fire, or mold damage. This entry-level role involves learning restoration skills, working as part of a team, and helping customers through difficult situations. The position is based in Lindon, Utah, and includes an initial Monday–Friday training period expected to last approximately 90 days. Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Written and verbal fluency in English.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
Ability to lift 75 pounds or more frequently.
Ability to work while exposed to potentially extreme weather conditions.
Ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, pull, push, reach, and stoop for 8–12 or more hours per day.

Responsibilities

Serve people in the community during times of need and help customers whose property has been damaged by a disaster.
Complete restoration and cleanup work, including water mitigation, mold remediation, and basic demolition, under supervision.
Provide excellent customer service throughout each project.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work vehicle and equipment.
Help set up equipment and temporary structures and prepare materials for removal.
Clean and care for job tools and equipment.
Participate in an on-call schedule and remain reachable by phone as needed.
Support warehouse and facility tasks when required.
Communicate empathetically and with a sense of urgency using modern technology.
Take pride in completing restoration projects, including mitigating flood and fire damage.
