About The Position

As a Mitigation Technician with Paul Davis Restoration, you will help homeowners restore their homes and peace of mind after water, fire, or mold damage. This entry-level role involves learning restoration skills, working as part of a team, and supporting customers during difficult situations. The position requires a Monday–Friday schedule during the initial training period, expected to last approximately 90 days. The posting lists the weekend-shift hours as Friday–Monday, 8 am–6 pm, and Thursday–Monday, 8 am–5 pm.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Written and verbal fluency in English.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime if needed.
Ability to lift 75+ pounds frequently.
Ability to work while exposed to potentially extreme weather conditions.
Ability to stand, lift, bend, twist, pull, push, reach, and stoop for 8–12+ hours per day.

Responsibilities

Serve community members in their time of need and help people whose property has been affected by a disaster.
Perform restoration and cleanup services, including water mitigation, mold remediation, and basic demolition, under supervision.
Provide excellent customer service throughout each project.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work vehicle and equipment.
Assist with setting up equipment and temporary structures and preparing materials for removal.
Clean and care for tools and equipment used on the job.
Participate in an on-call schedule and remain reachable by phone as needed.
Support warehouse and facility tasks when required.
Communicate empathetically and with a sense of urgency using modern technology.
