About The Position

The Boeing Company Precision Engagement Systems (PES) organization is seeking a Mission Systems and Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leader (Level M) based in St. Charles, Missouri supporting Cruise Missile Systems (CMS) programs. Weapons programs are fast paced and dynamic and the selected IPT Lead will be an integral member of the leadership team for each program. The Mission Systems and Software IPT Leader will lead all aspects of the mission systems hardware components, the missile operational flight system software suite, and the CMS Laboratories from the requirements, design, fabrication/procurement, integration, test, production delivery and fleet support. The Mission Systems and Software leader is responsible for the technical, schedule, and financial execution of their IPT’s scope of work. The IPT leader will ensure collaboration and integration across the Air Vehicle, Launch System, Support/Factory Test Equipment, Product Support, Production teams and across all of the CMS programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams and software development on projects, transactions, or initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
  • 3+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders
  • 3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
  • 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • Export Control Requirement: This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
