About The Position

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) Precision Engagement Systems (PES) is seeking two Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead (Level M) based in St. Charles, Missouri supporting Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) and Cruise Missile Systems (CMS) programs. Weapons programs are fast paced and dynamic and the selected IPT Lead will be an integral member of the leadership team for each program. The IPT Leader leads cross-functional product teams through development, production, and sustainment work scope including but not limited to Airframe, Air Vehicle Integration, Guidance & Control, Structures, Systems, Strength, and Software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
• 5+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
• 3+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders
• 3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
• 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
• A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

• Experience with Direct Attack Weapons and/or Cruise Missile Systems
• Active U.S. Secret (or higher) Clearance

Responsibilities

• Owns technical integration, cost, schedule, first-time quality, and delivery of air vehicle scope of work.
• Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives working with our deployed Engineering capabilities and Functions.
• Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees and managers.
