About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Precision Engagement Systems (PES) is seeking three Launch Systems and Integration Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead (Level L) based in St. Charles, Missouri supporting Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM), Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), and Cruise Missile Systems (CMS) programs. Weapons programs are fast paced and dynamic and the selected IPT Lead will be an integral member of the leadership team for each program. The IPT Leader leads cross-functional product teams through development, production, and sustainment of work scope including but not limited to Launch System Integration, Weapon Modules/Simulation, Mission Planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions, or initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience in program management of technical programs for aerospace or other engineering business areas
  • 1+ years of experience in a management role working with both direct reports and business unit leaders
  • 3+ years of experience with RIO (Risks, Issues and Opportunities) processes and tools
  • 3+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Owns technical integration, cost, schedule, first-time quality, and delivery of launch systems scope of work.
  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives working with our deployed Engineering capabilities and Functions.
  • Manages and drives performance.
  • Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and managers.
