About The Position

The Data and Process Quality Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of data and business processes supporting Montefiore's Health Home program. This role is part of a technical team supporting a complex system including web applications, data interfaces, billing and finance processes, claims and remittance workflows, and reporting solutions. The successful candidate will develop deep knowledge of both the NYS Medicaid Health Home program and the underlying technology platform, including large relational databases, complex stored procedures, and business rules. A key responsibility of this role is proactively identifying data quality issues, process breakdowns, and operational gaps through advanced SQL analysis, root cause investigation, and reporting. This is a hands-on analytical role requiring strong technical skills, curiosity, and the ability to connect business processes with underlying data. ON-SITE WORK REQUIRED

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years in data quality, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with demonstrated ability to write complex queries against large relational databases.
• Strong understanding of relational database structures, data relationships, and data quality principles.
• Experience analyzing complex business processes, data flows, and system logic.
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot stored procedures, interfaces, and batch processes.
• Experience developing analytical reports and exception monitoring solutions.
• Exceptional analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of SDLC concepts and practices.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid, healthcare operations, claims, billing, or NYS Health Home programs.
• Familiarity with NYS Medicaid policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze data quality across multiple systems and processes.
• Write advanced SQL queries to identify data anomalies, discrepancies, and trends.
• Perform root cause analysis to determine sources of data and process issues.
• Develop reports and monitoring tools that enable operational teams to identify and correct issues.
• Analyze business workflows and data flows to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Support daily file exchanges and data reconciliation activities with NYS DOH MAPP.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and operational teams to implement corrective actions and improve quality.
