Including surveying and mapping, capital projects, ground control, ventilation, basic mine construction, and assistance with quality assurance. The responsibilities also include collecting and analyzing geologic data, such as collecting QC samples, geologic modeling, trending and predicting. The position will supervise interns, technicians, and contractors. The position will work closely with the mine supervisor, shift supervisors, and mine manager in technical support of the operation. The position will also be responsible for ground support monitoring (bore scoping, roof inspection, probe drilling, profiling, etc.) and notifying the mining team of issues or observed trends. The position will support routine QC and geologic data collection and record keeping and work with the quality department to ensure acceptable kiln feed. This position will function as the “step-up” leader when needed to direct the mining employees or contractors.
