About The Position

It partners with customers to deliver projects and create value across the lifecycle of their assets, providing consulting, engineering, procurement and construction services, as well as operations and decommissioning support.

The Millwright Foreperson directs employees and skilled mechanics, interprets drawings and specifications, and ensures assigned work meets or exceeds required standards. The role includes familiarity with and enforcement of the jobsite safety plan, conducting safety training, planning work, taking responsibility for the crew, motivating employees, and supporting the immediate supervisor. The foreperson also prepares and submits timesheets, safety reports, quality and quantity reports, and other required reports.

The role requires reading blueprints and specifications to determine the scope of work, including work locations and the quantities and sizes of materials required. Physical activities include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and repetitive motions.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of industrial construction or maintenance industry experience.

Nice To Haves

• NCEER Certified Plus certification.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct employees and the crew.
• Take responsibility and accountability for the crew.
• Review and interpret drawings and specifications; instruct skilled mechanics so work meets requirements.
• Read blueprints and specifications to determine the work scope, locations, and quantities and sizes of required materials.
• Be familiar with the jobsite safety plan, enforce safe practices, and conduct safety training.
• Know the assigned work and ensure it meets or exceeds standards.
• Prepare and submit timesheets, safety reports, quality and quantity reports, and other required reports.
• Plan work and motivate employees.
• Support the immediate supervisor in performing their duties.
