About The Position

The General Foreperson performs duties and responsibilities assigned by their immediate supervisor and provides crews with the information, drawings, specifications, materials, tools, and equipment needed to complete their work. The role assists with planning and scheduling, promotes safe work practices, monitors documentation and employee performance, seeks productive and cost-efficient work methods, and supports employee development and preparation for added responsibilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the industrial construction or maintenance industry.

Nice To Haves

• NCEER Certified Plus.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling work.
• Enforce safe practices and job safety programs.
• Monitor paperwork for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.
• Analyze work to identify more productive and cost-efficient methods.
• Monitor employee performance and provide written evaluations, assistance, and training to assigned employees.
• Prepare employees for additional responsibilities.
• Keep appropriate management informed of significant information.
• Provide crews with the information, drawings, specifications, materials, tools, and equipment needed to accomplish their work.
