About The Position

The Millwork Technician fabricates interior and exterior residential doors to customer specifications and company standards. The role operates equipment to machine and manufacture doors, contributes to production-team improvements, and supports customers and the sales team as needed. The technician also hangs or installs doors as needed and maintains a clean, safe working environment while following company policies and procedures. The role reports to the Operations Manager.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
2–3 years of experience in a relevant field.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Practical mathematics and measuring skills.
Ability to function effectively as part of a high-performance production team.
Ability to achieve performance objectives in a time-sensitive, quality-centered environment.
Initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to perform repetitive motions associated with operating manufacturing equipment.
Ability to bend, stand, lift, and engage in ongoing physical activity.

Responsibilities

Fabricate interior and exterior residential doors according to customer requirements and company standards.
Operate appropriate equipment to machine and manufacture doors to customer specifications.
Work with production teams to improve value streams.
Maintain a safe work environment by identifying and correcting potential safety concerns and hazards.
Operate equipment according to specifications and designated safety standards.
Assist customers and the sales team as needed.
Hang or install doors as needed.
Maintain a clean working environment.
Follow company policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
Perform other duties as required.
Visualize, fulfill, and implement the company vision and core values.
