About The Position

Boise Cascade is hiring a Millwork Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory control at a distribution location. The role helps ensure inventory is secured, properly identified, and accessible to authorized personnel. The position works in an office environment with minimal physical exertion.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or two years of equivalent work experience.

• Typically more than five years of experience in a related job function.
• Technical certification or an associate degree may be required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control over inventories, ensuring they are secured, properly identified, and readily accessible to authorized personnel at a distribution location.
• Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile results with inventory records.
• Verify quantities of incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain accurate physical and record inventories.
• Analyze inventory levels and coordinate with production and sales orders and forecasts.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the work area.
• Follow safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
