About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Milling Machine Machinist 1 to set up and operate horizontal, multi-axis, and vertical CNC machines to perform precision machining operations including contouring, boring, helical and spiral milling, serrating, gear cutting, spline cutting, and keyway machining to exact tolerances. The role involves interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements, tooling, feeds, and speeds.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ months of related machining experience and/or technical education.
Experience with CNC machining and robotic manufacturing systems.
Experience using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, dial indicators, torque tools, and inspection gauges.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Ability to work a 3/10 schedule and second shift.

Nice To Haves

Formal CNC Machining Certificate.
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and computer-controlled machining systems.
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and quality inspection methods.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machining equipment and robotic manufacturing systems.
Perform precision machining operations including milling, boring, contouring, and gear/spline cutting.
Select, mount, align, and adjust tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Monitor machine performance, automated systems, and production processes.
Conduct routine quality inspections and ensure compliance with specifications.
Maintain production records, machine performance logs, and maintenance documentation.
Support continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Monitor and verify product quality in accordance with established quality standards.
