About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an experienced Milling Machine Machinist 2 to set up and operate CNC milling and machining equipment to manufacture precision components to engineering specifications. This role involves performing machine setup, programming, tooling selection, machining operations, and quality inspections while ensuring adherence to production and tolerance requirements. The position is located in Palmdale, CA, and operates on the 2nd Shift from 15:00-01:30, with a 4x10 work schedule (Monday - Thursday).

Requirements

• Experience operating CNC Mills.
• Experience operating CNC Lathes.
• Experience with CNC programming (Mastercam/MCAM).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with precision measurement and inspection tools.
• High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 5-Axis Machining.
• Experience with live tooling CNC Lathes.
• Experience with Wire EDM.
• Experience operating SNK 5-Axis machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines and related equipment.
• Perform machining operations including contouring, boring, milling, and precision cutting.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications.
• Select tooling, determine machining sequences, and adjust machine parameters.
• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Verify product quality and compliance with specifications.
• Support continuous improvement and manufacturing efficiency initiatives.
