About The Position
Organize and maintain a team of middle school students who work in the area of media production. Supervise all media-related tasks performed by the students and develop media projects that enhance the middle school. The Middle School Media Team Sponsor will cultivate the academic and artistic excellence of the whole child while working with the school and community to foster the skills for students to be confident, ethical, responsible, and empathetic global citizens.
Requirements
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn the operation of media technology
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with middle school students in training on the use of media equipment
Responsibilities
- Select students to comprise the middle school media team
- Supervise students who are members of the media team
- Train students on appropriate media equipment
- Produce special video projects for middle school events as the need arises
- Submit yearly goals at the start of the school year and submit summary of goals in an end of the year report
