About The Position

The MICU Registered Nurse provides high-acuity, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients with complex medical, cardiac, and multi-system conditions. The role involves continuous patient monitoring, management of advanced life-support technology, titration of critical care medications, and close collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing, as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification; if not certified at hire, ACLS must be acquired within 30 days.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing diploma preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care or hospital-based RN experience is strongly preferred.
• Prior ICU or high-acuity step-down experience is highly desirable.
