About The Position

The MICU Registered Nurse provides high-acuity, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adult patients experiencing complex medical, cardiac, and multi-system conditions. The role includes continuous patient monitoring, managing advanced life-support technology, titrating critical care medications, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing, as evidenced by verification of state licensure.
• Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS required. If not ACLS certified upon hire, ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing diploma preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of acute care or hospital-based RN experience strongly preferred.
• Prior ICU or high-acuity step-down experience highly desirable.
