The Microtransit CONNECT Driver operates assigned revenue-service routes and provides safe, reliable, customer-focused transportation. The driver welcomes passengers, communicates service information and disruptions, assists passengers as needed—including passengers with special needs and mobility devices—and supports curb-to-curb or door-to-door service. The role requires safe vehicle operation, adherence to assigned routes and schedules, fare collection, vehicle inspections, and timely reporting of incidents and defects. The position may involve operating a vehicle for more than eight hours per day and working inside or outside vehicles. Physical demands may include extended periods of walking, standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting, balancing, stooping, twisting, squatting, handling materials, repetitive hand-wrist motions, and traversing uneven surfaces. Employees may be exposed to extreme heat or cold, loud noises, fumes, and airborne particles. Reasonable accommodation may be requested to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Employment in this safety-sensitive role is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen and physical examination, and completing a background check consistent with applicable law. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Keolis states its commitment to safety, environmental protection, equal employment opportunity, reasonable accommodation, and employee development.
