Microsoft Cloud Engineer

Vericast•San Antonio, TX

About The Position

Vericast is seeking a hands-on Cloud Engineer to support and operate its Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms. The role involves engineering, administering, and continuously improving enterprise cloud and identity services, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Microsoft Entra ID, M365 email systems, and emerging AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio. This is an engineering and operations role, rather than a pure architecture position, requiring the ability to design, build, troubleshoot, and operate cloud and identity solutions in a production environment. The engineer will support Azure infrastructure and services, identity and access management, Microsoft 365 services, and AI-enabled productivity tools. The role also involves resolving complex platform and identity issues, analyzing root causes, monitoring service health and security, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated technology solutions. Vericast describes itself as a financial institution performance partner, helping banks and credit unions through data, technology, and people. It offers a total rewards package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, and paid time off, as well as additional benefits such as life insurance, employee assistance, and pet insurance. Vericast emphasizes collaboration, innovation, workplace flexibility, and equal opportunity.
