Mia Italian Clerk
About The Position
The Mia Italian Clerk supports the Mia Italian department by providing customer service, taking orders, preparing food, maintaining product availability and freshness, and keeping the work area clean and organized. The role includes preparing pizza toppings, dough, breadsticks, and other products; pre-baking pizza crusts; receiving and storing products; operating the register and processing payments where applicable; and following sanitation procedures and company policies. Clerks work with teammates to provide a positive customer experience and may assist in other store areas or special projects. Training and support are provided, and prior experience is not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
- Ability to communicate clearly and helpfully with customers and teammates.
- Ability to stay organized and keep pace in a busy department.

- Up to six months of similar or related work experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, learn their names, and provide helpful, friendly customer service.
- Take customer orders at the counter and over the phone, help customers find products, and answer questions.
- Prepare pizza toppings, pizza dough, breadsticks, and other products as needed.
- Pre-bake pizza crusts and maintain an adequate supply of ready-to-use products.
- Monitor product freshness, rotate and replenish the cold case, and remove expired items.
- Receive products, verify orders, and place products in appropriate storage areas.
- Operate the department register and process payments where applicable.
- Follow sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Remove trash promptly and maintain a tidy department.
- Work with teammates to provide a smooth, positive customer experience.
- Comply with the dress code, hygiene standards, and company policies.
- Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed.
