About The Position

This position, 'Methods Agent Operations Support', involves acting as a leader in solving technical problems, coordinating with other support services, and providing technical support throughout the problem-solving process, including drafting and executing plans, making recommendations, and implementing changes. The role also entails managing short and medium-term projects to optimize production, reduce costs, and eliminate non-value-added activities. A key aspect is harmonizing the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by collaborating closely with engineering, material logistics, quality, and production departments. The agent will establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components, define necessary tools to ensure geometric tolerancing, and continuously seek ways to improve these strategies, participating in research and development projects. Additionally, the role focuses on optimizing processes for writing work instructions and first production control. Requirements

  • You hold a college diploma in engineering or equivalent
  • You have at least two (2) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • You have experience in the aeronautics field
  • You demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You are very familiar with SAP and MS Office software, including MS Project, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • You have knowledge of Catia V5
  • You are a good team player with strong communication skills, ensuring interface with the many involved business partners
  • You must demonstrate superior organizational and leadership skills and you must be comfortable in a dynamic and changing work environment

Responsibilities

  • Harmonize the implementation of engineering or assembly strategy changes by working closely with engineering, material logistics, quality, and production departments
  • Establish assembly and manufacturing strategies for aircraft components
  • Define the necessary tools for manufacturing or assembling aircraft components to ensure the required geometric tolerancing
  • Be alert to ways to improve assembly and manufacturing strategies and participate in research and development projects
  • Optimize the processes of writing our work instructions and first production control
