About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Railing Installer to join the field team. The role involves installing architectural metal railing systems and components on commercial construction projects. Travel to project sites is required as needed, including occasional overnight and out-of-town travel. The installer will work with field supervisors, project teams, and other trades while following jobsite safety requirements and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The position calls for quality craftsmanship, safety, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Previous experience in construction or architectural metal installation is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and construction documents.
• Strong measuring, layout, leveling, and installation skills.
• Experience using common construction hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting materials and working at heights.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a field installation team.
• Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
• Commitment to following company and jobsite safety requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Experience installing railings, ornamental metals, glass systems, or similar architectural products.

Responsibilities

• Install architectural handrails, guardrails, glass railing systems, and other custom metal components.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, installation drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, lay out, level, align, and secure railing systems according to approved drawings.
• Install posts, rails, brackets, supports, glass panels, and related components.
• Use required hand and power tools and measuring equipment for installation.
• Perform field adjustments and minor modifications to achieve proper fit and alignment.
• Protect finished materials from damage during handling and installation.
• Coordinate with field supervisors, project teams, and other trades to complete installations efficiently.
• Follow jobsite safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and fall protection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with material handling as needed.
