About The Position

RQ Construction is hiring skilled Sheet Metal Installers for its self-perform team supporting construction projects at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. The company delivers commercial and government Design-Build projects nationwide, including work supporting the Department of Defense. Field teams are assigned to specific job sites. Sheet Metal Installers fabricate and install ductwork, HVAC systems, and air distribution components on active job sites. Work must comply with applicable building codes and industry standards. The role requires mechanical aptitude, technical expertise, safe operation of tools and equipment, and adherence to strict safety guidelines and company values. Candidates considered for hire must provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization and successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 4 years of experience, or equivalent, as a journey-level sheet metal worker in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments.
Provide evidence of identity and U.S. work authorization at the time of hire.
Successfully pass a drug screening and commercial criminal background check; a stricter Department of Defense background check is required for military-base access when applicable.
