About The Position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring a part-time Sales Specialist to work in a Best Buy retail location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The specialist helps shoppers discover Meta products—including AR/VR headsets and accessories—by understanding their needs, recommending suitable products, and providing interactive demonstrations. The role also includes training retail associates on new AI apps and tools; all technology training is provided by the team. The specialist represents Meta and 2020 Companies professionally, builds positive relationships with customers and store staff, works toward monthly sales targets, and helps maintain attractive product displays. They track customer interactions, feedback, and sales electronically and submit daily reports using a mobile device. The schedule is primarily Friday through Sunday, with additional November and December shifts on key shopping days and up to three one-time weekday shifts required. The position pays $20.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to engage customers, demonstrate products, and ask for the sale.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Integrity and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Availability to work weekends and up to a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
Own a smartphone with an operating system equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, pick up, bend, and grab; occasionally lift up to 20 pounds; and perform continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation.
Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits.

Nice To Haves

At least six months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing.
Interest in AV and VR products.

Responsibilities

Engage retail customers, understand their needs, recommend Meta products, and help drive sales.

Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to team success.
Keep Meta product displays clean, organized, and visually appealing, with current devices and promotions showcased effectively.
Partner with retail sales associates and leaders, share product knowledge, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Track customer interactions, feedback, and sales electronically and submit daily reports using a mobile device.
Adapt to local retail environments, respect established hierarchies, and follow operational policies.
Work scheduled weekend visits and required additional shifts.
