About The Position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring a part-time Sales Specialist to represent Meta products in a Best Buy retail location in Ogden, Utah. The role focuses on helping shoppers find Meta products that fit their needs, demonstrating products such as AR/VR headsets and accessories, and providing an engaging and informative customer experience. The company provides technology training. The specialist builds relationships with customers, retail associates, and store leaders while representing Meta and 2020 Companies professionally. The position includes meeting monthly sales targets, maintaining product displays, tracking customer interactions and sales electronically, and submitting daily reports using a mobile device. The schedule is primarily Friday through Sunday, with additional holiday shifts and up to three one-time weekday shifts required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to engage customers, demonstrate products, and ask for the sale.
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
Own a smartphone with an operating system equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, pick up, bend, and grab; occasionally lift up to 20 pounds; and perform continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation.
Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits.

Nice To Haves

At least six months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing.
Interest in audiovisual and virtual reality products.

Responsibilities

Recommend Meta products to shoppers based on their needs.
Demonstrate Meta products, including AR/VR headsets and accessories, and explain their uses in areas such as fitness, gaming, and entertainment.
Build customer trust and confidently ask for the sale.
Represent Meta and 2020 Companies professionally and foster positive relationships with customers, store staff, field partners, and store leaders.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to team results.
Keep Meta displays clean, organized, and visually appealing, with current devices and promotions showcased effectively.
Partner with retail associates and leaders, share product knowledge, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Track customer interactions, feedback, and sales electronically, and submit daily reports using a mobile device.
Adapt to local retail environments, respect established hierarchies, and follow operational policies.
Work scheduled visits primarily on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, including high-traffic holiday periods.
