About The Position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring a temporary seasonal Meta Sales Specialist to work at Walmart 3520 in Secaucus, New Jersey. The role promotes Meta products in a big-box retail setting by demonstrating wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences. The specialist engages shoppers, tailors product demonstrations to their interests, guides customers through the experience and confidently asks for the sale. The position also involves maintaining demo-ready displays, building relationships with store associates, sharing product and promotion information, tracking customer engagement and sales activity, and staying current on product launches and software updates. Product and technology training is provided remotely.

The stated regular schedule is 12 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6:00 p.m. The seasonal dates are November 7, 2026, through January 24, 2027. Additional shifts will be added in November and December for key shopping days, and holiday availability is required for the day before Thanksgiving and two designated weekdays leading up to Christmas. Compensation is listed as an hourly rate (shown as "$xx per hour") plus a seasonal completion bonus, subject to attendance, employee-standing, and KPI requirements. Additional sales-contest incentives may include Meta products, promotional items, or gift cards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
• Customer-first experience mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
• A smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 or newer.
• Personal, reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.

Nice To Haves

• Six or more months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing.
• Interest in technology, wearable AI, and/or virtual reality technology.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Meta wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences to shoppers.
• Proactively engage shoppers and provide welcoming, personalized customer experiences.
• Explain product features and benefits based on each customer's interests and needs.
• Guide customers from initial engagement through product demonstration and confidently ask for the sale.
• Keep displays organized, products demo-ready, and the retail experience aligned with Meta brand standards.
• Build relationships with store teams and inform them about current products, features, and promotions.
• Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activity while working toward individual and program performance goals.
• Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology.
• Complete product and technology training and certifications.
