Seasonal Meta Sales Rep
About The Position
2020 Companies is hiring a seasonal Meta Sales Specialist to work within a local big-box retailer, demonstrating and promoting Meta products to consumers. The role focuses on creating excitement around Meta technology, building relationships with retail associates, delivering engaging customer experiences, and training store teams on AI apps, tools, and product features. Product and technology training is provided. The position is based at Walmart 3520 in Secaucus, New Jersey. The schedule is 12 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6:00 p.m., from November 7, 2026, through January 24, 2027. Additional shifts are added in November and December for key shopping days. Required holiday availability includes the day before Thanksgiving and two designated weekdays leading up to Christmas. Pay is $21 per hour, with a seasonal completion bonus subject to attendance requirements, employee standing, and KPI achievement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfort engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
- Customer-first service mindset.
- Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
- Smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 or newer.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.
- Reliable personal transportation.
Nice To Haves
- At least 6 months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing.
- Interest in technology, wearable AI, and/or virtual reality technology.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences through hands-on demonstrations.
- Proactively engage shoppers and provide a welcoming, personalized experience.
- Create memorable customer experiences that leave shoppers with a positive impression of Meta and its products.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits based on customers’ interests and needs.
- Guide customers from initial engagement and product demonstration through asking for the sale.
- Keep displays organized, products ready for demonstrations, and the retail experience aligned with Meta brand standards.
- Build relationships with store teams and inform them about current products, features, and promotions.
- Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activity while working toward individual and program performance goals.
- Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology.
