About The Position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring a part-time seasonal Meta Sales Specialist to work at Walmart 2473 in Hilo, Hawaii. The role demonstrates and promotes Meta products to shoppers, builds relationships with retail associates, creates engaging customer experiences, and trains store teams on Meta AI apps, tools, and product features. Product and technology training is provided.

The schedule is 12 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6:00 p.m., from November 7, 2026, through January 24, 2027. Additional shifts are added in November and December for key shopping days. Required holiday availability includes the day before Thanksgiving and two designated weekdays leading up to Christmas. Pay is $21 per hour, with a seasonal completion bonus contingent on attendance requirements, employee standing, and meeting KPIs.

The position includes weekly base pay and access to on-demand cashouts through DailyPay. Product and technology certifications are completed remotely using a laptop or phone. Other potential opportunities include sales contests with incentives such as Meta products, promotional items, or gift cards, and career pathways into lead specialist roles, retail management, and longer-term program opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
• Customer-first mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
• Smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 or newer.
• Personal, reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecommunications, or marketing.
• Interest in technology, wearable AI, and/or virtual reality.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive Meta experiences.
• Proactively engage shoppers and provide a welcoming, personalized experience.
• Create engaging customer experiences that leave shoppers with a positive impression of Meta and its products.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits based on customers’ interests and needs.
• Guide customers from initial engagement and product demonstration through asking for the sale.
• Keep displays organized, products ready for demonstrations, and the retail experience aligned with Meta brand standards.
• Build relationships with store teams and inform them about current products, features, and promotions.
• Track demonstrations, customer engagement, and sales activity while working toward individual and program performance goals.
• Stay current on product launches, software updates, and emerging technology.
• Train store teams on new AI apps, tools, and product features.
