About The Position

2020 Companies, in partnership with Meta, is hiring a temporary seasonal Meta Sales Specialist to represent Meta products at Walmart 2159 in Olean, New York. The role involves demonstrating and promoting Meta products, building relationships with retail associates, creating engaging customer experiences, and training store teams on AI apps, tools, and product features. Product and technology training is provided.

The schedule is 12 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday, from noon to 6:00 p.m. The position runs from November 7, 2026, through January 24, 2027. Additional shifts are added in November and December for key shopping days. Holiday availability is required the day before Thanksgiving and on two designated weekdays leading up to Christmas. Pay is listed as an hourly rate plus a seasonal completion bonus; the rate is not specified. The bonus is contingent on attendance requirements, employee standing, and meeting KPIs.

The representative brings Meta technology to life through hands-on demonstrations of wearable AI, smart technology, and immersive experiences. They engage shoppers, demonstrate relevant product features, guide customers through the purchase experience, maintain displays, keep store teams informed, track activity and performance, and stay up to date on product and software developments. The role requires a smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 or newer and reliable personal transportation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and confidently asking for the sale.
• Customer-first experience mindset.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Availability to work weekends and a minimum of three one-time weekday shifts.
• Smartphone equivalent to an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 or newer.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, grasp, lift up to 20 pounds occasionally, and perform continuous hand-eye coordination and fine manipulation. Accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
