About The Position

A Bloomingdale’s Merchandising Support Associate helps deliver a neat, clean, organized, and engaging shopping experience. The role supports the merchandise journey, including merchandising products on the sales floor; organizing merchandise for events; executing markdowns, vendor returns, and re-ticketing projects; replenishing merchandise; processing damages; and maintaining organized product presentation and navigable back-of-house stockrooms. Associates greet and welcome customers while on the selling floor and use speed, attention to detail, collaboration, and teamwork to support a smooth customer experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peers.
Resourcefulness and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work a flexible schedule during retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stoop, distinguish colors, and climb ladders as needed.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld electronic equipment.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Execute markdowns, returns to vendors, re-ticketing projects, and replenishment.
Process damaged merchandise.
