About The Position

The Merchandising Operations Associate supports daily merchandise operations, including processing, placement, maintenance, and fulfillment, under the leadership of and reporting to the Merchandise Operations Team Supervisor/Manager. The role involves working in a fast-paced retail environment, maintaining merchandise presentation standards, locating products for customer orders, and supporting other store projects as needed.

The associate is expected to communicate effectively, build positive working relationships, assess progress and operational opportunities or risks, pursue objectives and measures, and share ideas to address simple and complex problems. The position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs. The role may also require driving a company vehicle at select stores, subject to applicable state driver's license standards.

Requirements

• Ability to lift cartons, climb ladders, and handle merchandise racks and carts, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maintain merchandising standards on the floor in compliance with visual standards.
• Computer skills and ability to use available technology, including RF guns, PCs, iOS devices, Excel, Word, and proprietary platforms.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs and follow through on assigned tasks.
• Ability to drive a company vehicle as needed at select stores, in accordance with state driver's license standards.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound merchandise and place and present merchandise on the selling floor.
• Follow direction to maintain merchandise placement and presentation standards.
• Participate in other store projects as needed, including replenishing merchandise on the selling floor, floor recovery, and supply replenishment.
• Locate merchandise in the store and complete customer orders.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond quickly to customer needs.
• Take on ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
• Monitor progress and results against objectives and measures.
• Share original ideas and address simple and complex problems.
