About The Position
The Merchandising and Technical Specialist works independently in retail stores, collecting in-store data for leading brands and carrying out hands-on merchandising tasks. The role represents brands including Coca-Cola, Nielsen, and P&G, and helps ensure products are stocked, organized, and presented effectively. The specialist uses a mobile app and smartphone to capture store information, scan products, photograph displays, follow picture guides, and report completed work. The position involves traveling between store locations and offers flexible scheduling with assignments that can fit the worker’s lifestyle.
Requirements
- A smartphone with reliable data and camera functionality.
- Access to dependable transportation for travel between store locations.
- Ability to follow app-based instructions and upload photos in real time.
Responsibilities
- Visit stores as a professional merchandiser on behalf of leading brands.
- Capture high-quality photos of beverage shelves, coolers, and displays.
- Use a mobile app to scan products in areas such as endcaps, dump bins, coolers, freezers, cut cases, and floor stacks.
- Photograph product categories, including non-P&G items, across one or more aisles using in-app picture guides.
- Collect in-store data by photographing displays, scanning products, and completing picture guides on a mobile device.
- Stock and organize products from the backroom to the sales floor.
- Set up and maintain displays and promotional signage.
- Reset product sections and support store remodels.
- Front-face products and keep shelves presentable.
- Use a smartphone to report tasks and upload photos of completed work.
