About The Position

The Merchandiser assists the Chain Retail Division in each market. The role supports accounts by delivering orders, stocking and rotating products, maintaining shelves and displays, and helping with major deliveries. The Merchandiser receives the daily route by email from the Warehouse Manager and/or Merchandising Manager after orders have been fulfilled. The position may require weekend work and involves repeatedly lifting 40–60 pounds.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Must be able to work the assigned work schedule, which may include weekends.
• Must be able to communicate effectively.
• Satisfactory driving record and an active driver's license for the state of residence.
• Must be able to safely lift 40–60 pounds repeatedly.
• Must pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.

Nice To Haves

• Additional education preferred.
• Previous sales, merchandising, or pull-up experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the wine and beer beverage industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to accounts.
• Stock, merchandise, and rotate products on displays and shelves.
• Run routes and support major deliveries by assisting the delivery driver with unloading product, checking in orders, and stocking them.
• Build wine and beer displays.
• Assist in completing store resets in the established territory.
• Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
