About The Position
Imperial Beverage is hiring a Merchandiser in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. Merchandisers drive their own vehicles to assigned local stores and help ensure the company’s beverages are stocked, organized, and ready for customers. The role offers flexibility, entry-level work experience, and exposure to new beverage products. Employees are reimbursed for driving their personal vehicle to assigned stores. This full-time position requires a vehicle, a cell phone, and daytime availability. Imperial Beverage is a Michigan family-owned beverage distributor, established in 1933. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have reliable transportation and a vehicle for travel to assigned local stores.
- Have a reliable personal cell phone capable of receiving calls and text messages; the phone number must be available internally.
- Have access to daily email and a smart device for tracking mileage and hours.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Live in or near the posted region.
- Be able to lift and/or move an average of 30 pounds repetitively.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review emails and deliveries to plan the day’s schedule.
- Arrive at assigned stores after delivery drivers have made deliveries.
- Greet the store manager and check in when needed.
- Review store invoices to determine which beverages were delivered.
- Stock shelves and coolers, rotating fresh product.
- Organize product remaining in the backstock area.
- Assemble product displays as needed.
