About The Position

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Merchandiser to stock and display products, rotate stock, organize backroom storage, and move products from the backroom to the sales floor. The role also accurately orders product for the next delivery. The listed shift is 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Merchandiser fills and merchandises coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and vendors in accordance with PBV standards; sells and executes promotions; creates and uses point-of-sale signage; and develops customer relationships. The role services customers as scheduled, orders products and/or runs invoices, cleans equipment, maintains orderly backroom storage, rotates stock, and performs other assigned duties. Pepsi Bottling Ventures makes, sells, and distributes PepsiCo and other beverages. It is jointly owned by Suntory and PepsiCo and operates in five states. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required.
Ability to perform basic financial calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Ability to meet PBV driving qualifications.
Ability to work the hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

High school diploma or GED is highly preferred; three to five years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Fill and merchandise coolers, displays, racks, shelves, and/or vendors according to PBV standards.
Sell and execute promotions.
Create and utilize point-of-sale signage.
Develop good customer relations.
Service all customers as scheduled.
Order product and/or run invoices.
Clean equipment, maintain orderly backroom storage, and rotate stock.
Perform other duties as assigned.
