Weekend Merchandiser
About The Position
GPC, formerly known as Gillette Pepsi, is a family-owned independent distributor of Pepsi and other beverages. The Weekend Merchandiser ensures GPC products are stocked and attractively displayed at assigned customer accounts in the Tomah area. The role works every Saturday and Sunday, with shifts of approximately 5–8 hours starting at 5 a.m. or 6 a.m., depending on store requirements. Responsibilities include replenishing products, maintaining displays, rotating stock using FIFO, and providing customer service while building relationships with store staff and customers.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing or possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
Responsibilities
- Stock GPC beverages at assigned customer accounts by replenishing shelves, end caps, displays, and coolers.
- Set up and maintain product displays according to GPC merchandising standards.
- Rotate products using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method.
- Build strong relationships with store staff and customers while representing GPC.
- Provide excellent customer service.
