About The Position
Alliance Beverage is hiring a full-time Merchandiser serving the Grand Rapids area. Merchandisers travel in their own vehicles to assigned accounts to stock, rotate, and face beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage products. The role involves organizing backstock, building displays with Sales Representatives, and coordinating with the sales team to maintain appropriate product levels and prevent stockouts. Merchandisers work independently while communicating with customers and colleagues. The work includes repeatedly bending and lifting products, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Smartphone.
- Adequate auto insurance; required coverage specifics are provided during the interview process.
- Reliable transportation and ability to drive a personal vehicle between stores.
- Stable work history and a proven track record of reliability.
- Ability to work independently as part of a larger team.
- Customer-service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to repeatedly bend and lift cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned accounts and stock, rotate, and face merchandise.
- Consolidate and organize products in backstock areas.
- Work with Sales Representatives to build displays.
- Communicate necessary information within the sales team to maintain proper product levels and prevent stockouts.
- Repeatedly bend and lift products, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Communicate with customers and other employees.
