About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you independently service the Hallmark departments of assigned retail stores, showcasing organization and time-management skills while representing Hallmark and building relationships with retailers. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support other team members with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service. The role involves day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communications. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. Seasonal periods bring additional workdays and extended hours; some holiday work may be required. You may also join teams completing department resets, fixture installations, product relocations, and card-section resets. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. This physically demanding position involves working on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms. It requires frequent handling of cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures, along with standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, and potentially climbing stairs or step ladders. The position pays $17.00–$19.00 per hour depending on skills and experience and averages 8–17 hours per week on a variable workweek schedule. Paid training is provided. Part-time employees may have access to voluntary benefits, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
