About The Position

The Grader examines and grades donated goods for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia stores and online. The role helps turn donations into job training opportunities for people facing barriers to employment. The position also supports daily production goals, contributes to a positive guest experience, and promotes cooperation and teamwork.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Foster a healthy team culture focused on exceptional guest experience.
Good oral and written communication skills in English, as well as interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
Must be at least 18 years old to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift; individuals aged 16 to 17 may not operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
Process goods effectively to meet daily production goals.
Move between multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
Identify and quickly solve problems or seek management support.
Communicate effectively with management and team members.
Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
Perform work tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
Follow safety and security practices, including reporting hazards and injuries to management.
Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
