About The Position

The Grader examines and grades donated goods for sale in Goodwill of North Georgia stores and online. The quality of this work supports job training for people facing barriers to employment. The role also includes processing goods to daily production goals, supporting multiple work areas, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and working cooperatively with teammates and management.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Foster a healthy team culture focused on exceptional guest experience.
Good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
Must be at least 18 years old to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift. Individuals aged 16 to 17 may not operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
Process goods to meet daily production goals.
Move among multiple work areas to support daily production goals.
Identify and resolve problems promptly or seek management support.
Communicate effectively with management and team members.
Promote and demonstrate cooperation and teamwork with peers.
Perform tasks according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
Follow safety and security practices, including reporting hazards and injuries to management.
Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
