About The Position

At Goodwill of North Georgia, the Grader helps determine the quality of donated goods by thoroughly examining and grading items for sale in stores and online. Proceeds from sales support job training for people facing barriers to employment. The role contributes to daily production goals and supports Goodwill’s community and environmental mission.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Foster a healthy team culture focused on exceptional guest experience.
Good oral and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and sound judgment.
Must be at least 18 years old to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift; individuals aged 16 to 17 may not operate forklifts, balers, or compactors.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods.
Process goods effectively to meet daily production goals.
Move between work areas as needed to support daily production goals.
Identify and promptly solve problems or seek management support.

Perform work according to training playbooks, e-learning, and work instructions.
Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
