About The Position
Falcon Farms is hiring a part-time Flower Merchandiser to maintain floral displays at various stores within an assigned territory. The merchandiser represents Falcon Farms in each store, works independently while collaborating with local teams, and helps create attractive displays and optimize inventory. The company provides a planned route and tools for the role. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The pay is $18.00 per hour. The position includes paid training in flower handling, a mobile phone allowance, and transportation expense reimbursement per route. Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to full-time employees. Merchandisers may be needed during peak periods, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, and the November-to-May peak season. The role involves frequent lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 40 pounds, bending, stretching, lifting products above shoulder level, and walking or standing for most of the shift.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English.
- Reliable transportation to reach assigned locations.
- Internet access and a smartphone.
- Availability to work during peak season from November to May.
- Ability to frequently lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stretch, and lift products above the shoulders.
- Ability to walk and stand for most of the shift.
Responsibilities
- Ensure flower displays are immaculate and attractive.
- Restock, organize, and monitor flower inventory.
- Use a mobile device to communicate with a supervisor and report activities.
- Interact professionally and in a friendly manner with store employees, managers, and customers.
- Prepare stores for seasonal demand during key dates such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas.
- Set up new displays and make inventory adjustments when necessary.
- Support teammates with special activities when needed.
