About The Position

As a Merchandise Team Member, you will work in one of Silver Dollar City’s 60-plus unique shops. You will provide friendly, outgoing service to guests and keep the shop clean and properly stocked. Merchandise may include theme park souvenirs, taffy, cinnamon bread, and custom-made furniture.

This full-time seasonal position starts now and ends 01/09/2027. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. One to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wear Personal Protective Equipment as deemed necessary.
• Be consistently at work and on time.
• Assist guests by answering questions, providing product information, and offering related services.
• Stock shelves, counters, and/or tables with merchandise.
• Operate the Point of Sale register in accordance with cash-handling and credit-card procedures.
• Handle customer credit card information in compliance with property procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
• Pick up, remove, and record the amount of cash in the register at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Wrap and/or bag merchandise for customers.
• Clean shelves, counters, or tables.
• Assist the Merchandise teams with other duties as assigned.
