About The Position

Silver Dollar City is seeking friendly Food Team Members to join its internationally recognized Food Team. Team Members may work at concession stands, skillets, or buffet-style restaurants, welcoming guests, taking and preparing orders, handling transactions, and helping create memorable guest experiences. This is a full-time seasonal position through January 2, 2027. Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Basic math skills, including making change and counting change back to guests.
• Must complete an in-house ServSafe food training class.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take product orders.
• Make customers feel welcome and appreciated.
• Maintain a themed environment.
• Prepare and cook food products.
• Handle cash, make change, and operate point-of-sale registers.
• Handle customer credit card information in compliance with property procedures and PCI standards.
• Maintain a safe food environment and follow safety procedures.
• Clean and bus tables as assigned.
• Use suggestive selling.
• Carry out shop closing and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain positive, helpful relationships with teammates.
• Wear personal protective equipment as deemed necessary.
