About The Position
The Merchandise/Stockroom Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfactory customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to meet business needs. The posted schedule is part-time, 6:00 AM–1:00 PM. The associate models customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, processes purchases and returns, promotes credit and loyalty programs, and prepares merchandise for the sales floor. The role also includes store recovery, maintaining cleanliness and organization, supporting shrink-reduction and safety programs, and complying with labor laws and company policies. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfactory customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
