Now Hiring Temporary- Part Time Merchandise Associate
About The Position
The Temporary, Part-Time Merchandise Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate models customer experience practices, supports a positive store culture, processes customer transactions and merchandise, promotes credit and loyalty programs, and helps maintain merchandising, recovery, cleanliness, and safety standards. The associate also supports shrink-reduction efforts, follows applicable labor laws and company procedures, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
