Aerie - Merchandise Leader (Part-Time)
About The Position
The Merchandise Leader supports the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining AEO Brand Visual Standards and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The role focuses on executing Floorsets, marketing and merchandising updates, and replenishment to keep the store guest ready. The Merchandise Leader trains and coaches the Floorset team, sets productivity goals, and partners with store leadership to identify and act on merchandising opportunities. They also help the team maintain brand standards, promote recognition and teamwork, uphold store safety, and follow shrink-reduction strategies and company policies.
Requirements
- Passion for AE and Aerie products.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong priority-setting and time-management skills.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Strong retail merchandising and visual skills.
- Prior retail work experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the Merchandising Team Leader in delivering an outstanding guest experience and maintaining AEO Brand Standards.
- Train and coach the Floorset team, set clear productivity goals, and ensure all store areas meet Floorset standards.
- Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
- Identify merchandising opportunities and coordinate with leadership to plan and take action.
- Help the merchandising team understand and maintain brand standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
- Promote a guest-first culture, recognize team contributions, and celebrate team wins.
- Maintain safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom.
- Follow shrink-reduction strategies and AEO policies and procedures.
