Aerie - Merchandise Leader (Part-Time)
About The Position
The Merchandise Leader supports the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining AEO Brand Visual Standards and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The role focuses on executing Floorsets and merchandising and marketing updates, maintaining effective replenishment, and keeping the store guest-ready. The Merchandise Leader brings attention to detail, visual expertise, teamwork, and company values to the role. The position also supports the merchandising team through coaching, clear productivity goals, and guidance on maintaining brand standards. It includes day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, replenishment, guest-experience priorities, team recognition, and maintaining safety and shrink-reduction practices. Aerie is a lifestyle brand offering intimates, apparel, activewear, and swim collections. Through its AerieREAL movement, the brand advocates body positivity and empowerment. As part of its Real Good promise, it makes swimsuits, bras, and underwear using materials made from recycled polyester, recycled nylon fabric, or sustainably sourced cotton.
Requirements
- Passion for AE and Aerie products.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong priority-setting and time-management skills.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Strong retail merchandising and visual skills.
- Previous retail work experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the Merchandising Team Leader in delivering an outstanding guest experience and ensuring the store represents AEO Brand Standards.
- Execute Floorsets by training and coaching the Floorset team, setting productivity goals, and ensuring all store areas meet Floorset standards.
- Manage day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
- Identify merchandising opportunities, develop plans with leadership, and take action.
- Help the team maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
- Keep the merchandising team's focus on the guest experience and foster a culture of recognition and celebrating team wins.
- Maintain store safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom.
- Follow shrink-reducing strategies and AEO policies and procedures.
