About The Position

The Merchandise Leader supports the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining AEO Brand Visual Standards and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The role focuses on executing Floorsets, marketing and merchandising updates, day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment to keep the store guest ready. The Merchandise Leader also trains and coaches the Floorset team, sets productivity goals, and works with store leadership and the merchandising team to maintain brand standards. The position promotes a culture of recognition, prioritizes guest experience, and helps maintain safety and shrink-reduction practices while following AEO policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandising Team Leader in delivering an outstanding guest experience and ensuring the store represents AEO Brand Standards.
• Execute Floorsets and train and coach the Floorset team, set productivity goals, and ensure all store areas meet Floorset standards.
• Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
• Identify merchandising opportunities, develop plans with leadership, and take action.
• Help the team understand how to maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Keep the merchandising team focused on the guest experience and champion a culture of recognition and celebration.
• Maintain store safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom.
• Support shrink-reducing strategies and follow AEO policies and procedures.
