About The Position

The Merchandise Leader supports the Merchandising Team Leader in maintaining AEO Brand Visual Standards and delivering an outstanding guest experience. The role focuses on executing Floorsets, marketing and merchandising updates, and replenishment to keep the store guest ready. The Merchandise Leader coaches and trains the Floorset team, sets productivity goals, and ensures store areas meet Floorset standards. They also manage day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment in partnership with store leadership. The role champions teamwork, recognition, guest experience, store safety, shrink-reducing practices, and adherence to AEO policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Strong retail merchandising and visual skills.
• A history of retail work.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, prioritization, and time management.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
• Passion for AE and Aerie products.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandising Team Leader in delivering an outstanding guest experience and ensuring the store represents AEO Brand Standards.
• Execute Floorsets by training and coaching the Floorset team, setting productivity goals, and ensuring all store areas meet Floorset standards.
• Manage day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment; identify merchandising opportunities and take action with leadership.
• Help the team understand and maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment.
• Keep the merchandising team's priority focused on the guest experience and promote a culture of recognition and celebration.
• Maintain store safety standards on the Salesfloor and in the Stockroom.
• Follow shrink-reducing strategies and adhere to AEO policies and procedures.
